Waypoint Leasing (Ireland) Limited (“Waypoint” or the “Company”), the largest independent global helicopter leasing company, today announced changes to its executive team as part of its ongoing efforts to better serve customers and pursue new growth and other strategic opportunities. Hooman Yazhari, most recently CHC Helicopter’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, has been named Chief Executive Officer effective February 5 2018, replacing Ed Washecka, who has left the Company.
Waypoint also announced that Alan Jenkins, currently Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, has been promoted to President of Waypoint. Mr. Jenkins will also retain his existing duties as COO & CFO. In addition, Allan Rowe, currently Head of Commercial, has been promoted to Head of Sales & Relationship Management.

Additionally, Waypoint has firm and option orders with aircraft manufacturers for more than 85 helicopters valued at more than $1.1 billion, to be delivered over the next four years.
About Hooman Yazhari
Mr. Yazhari brings more than a decade of experience as an executive in aviation, having most recently served as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer with responsibilities for Fleet, at CHC Helicopter, the largest global helicopter operator, since 2015. At CHC, Mr. Yazhari was a key leader in developing and executing holistic transformation strategies to successfully guide the company through its balance sheet restructuring and reorganization, while also acting as a key leader in the renewal of its fleet and operations. Prior to CHC, Mr. Yazhari served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a global market leader in the leasing and remarketing of advanced technology commercial jet aircraft to commercial airlines, from 2012 to 2014. He was instrumental to the transformation and successful sale of ILFC, as well as holding a key operational role at the company. Prior to that, he served in various leadership roles for Gategroup, a global aviation product and service provider. He obtained his law degree from Oxford University and master of laws from the London School of Economics.
